The Placenta

Many cultures have time honored traditions surrounding what happens to the placenta after a birth. In modern times, some people choose to have the placenta encapsulated. Each person decides on their own what is right for them.

Burying the placenta, sometimes planting a tree, is a time honored tradition in our community.

It is said that one day a person will return to the place where their placenta is buried.
