Prenatal Care

The Farm Midwives prenatal care

Pamela guides a student with hands-on instruction at The Farm Midwifery Center.

We prefer pregnant mothers under our care to come into our clinic at least once a month for prenatal examinations, unless we have made other arrangements because of your living distance.

Please contact us to make a first time appointment. As part of this meeting, we will make arrangements and select dates and times for your future visits.

We encourage those who live some distance away to call and email at least once a month so we can check in with you, answer any questions you may have, and begin getting to know each other.

In the last month of your pregnancy we want to see you at our clinic each week until you have your baby, unless because of your travel distance, we make other arrangements.

If you live a long distance, you should plan on arriving at The Farm Community 2-3 weeks before your due date. If being here three weeks prior to your due date is a hardship for your family, we can discuss a good alternative plan with you.
