Fees and Services

Please contact us to discuss the fees for your delivery.

Our standard services include:

  • Prenatal Care
  • Labor coaching and delivery by the midwife and her assistants
  • Three postpartum visits
  • The newborn physical
  • A six-week check-up for both mother and baby.

Our standard services and fees do not include:

  • Lab work
  • Pre or post partum doula service
  • Any additional childbirth education classes
  • Prenatal vitamins
  • Room & board, while you are here
  • Any hospital charges

The fee to The Farm Midwives should be paid in full by your 36th week of pregnancy.

When we accept you into our service there is a $500 non-refundable deposit. First visits are $300 which is applied toward the total birthing fee.

Checks for midwifery services should be made out to The Farm Midwives.
Payment for vitamins  should be made out to The Farm Clinic.
Payment for lab work should be made out to the lab that is doing your lab work.
You will be expected to pay for vitamins or lab work at the time these services are provided.

Insurance

Some insurance policies do cover midwifery services. If you are interested in this option, please let us know.
There will be a $200 filing fee to file an insurance claim to cover filing costs.

We use a billing service that specializes in filing for midwives.
Larsen Billing Service charges a $20.00 fee to determine if your insurance will pay for the birth or not.

Verifying Benefits through Larsen Billing Service

  1. From the PARENTS tab, select VERIFICATION OF BENEFITS
  2. Select  PATIENT REGISTRATION FORM
  3. Complete and submit the Patient Registration Form
  4. Your Provider PIN is: 11760
  5. Choose type of Insurance from drop-down menu
    Medicaid does not require a VOB so no payment will be collected
  6. Select PAY NOW, to pay the VOB service fee
